Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toIndia Export Sourcing \xef\xbc\x86 Supplier Quality Manager-MO,MOIMYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the suppliers Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Motion business NEMA Motors division in Rajkot, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites. Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services. Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary. Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.Qualifications for the role

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) is preferred, but hands-on experience and the right attitude are what count.
• Someone who enjoys supplier management activities, from qualifications and audits to performance monitoring, and knows how to drive results.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus, but more importantly, youre eager to learn and apply these approaches to make processes better.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence and align both internal and external stakeholders.
• Technical understanding of castings is helpful but not essential, as long as you have the desire to learn and grow in this area.
• Frequent Travel - 50-70%
