EXPECTATIONS : Display ability to grasp, adhere to, enforce and educate the business on existing policies and procedures surrounding all facets of our New Supplier Onboarding. Communicate with new and existing suppliers directly - through email and verbal - and through systematic prompts outlining any additional action pending, following up on remaining questions, and gathering further information & documentation required in our effort to complete Supplier Onboarding and general Supplier Maintenance tasks correctly. Manage & effectively prioritize daily workload including multiple ongoing projects, tasks, and conversations with both internal and external stakeholders. Serve as a Procurement partner and liaison to the business, willing to support in all designated functions, Procurement projects, and vendor onboarding / management. Demonstrate an ability to build effective, strategic relationships with the business, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Building confidence in these groups, and maintaining consistent correspondence and updates on pending action items. Collaborate with Snowflake\'s Legal and Security departments to ensure compliance with our Vendor Risk Assessment requirements. Good understanding of banking requirements to ensure successful payments to vendors Display strong analytical skills and administrative ability. Help our team to measure, manage and improve supplier performance against negotiated SLA s and quality metrics. Prioritize and lead multiple projects at the same time, working effectively with people at all skill & organizational levels, internally and externally Monitor and manage all new supplier requests coming through our Procurement system, as well as through other internal communication channels such as email, tickets, and direct messaging. For each new request / engagement with Procurement team: assist business with next-steps and guidance on all action required from their end throughout the engagement while managing expectations on turn-around time. Consistently monitor Supplier Onboarding & Supplier Management processes, for U.S. and abroad, and identify gaps and areas for improvement. Take ownership of specific Supplier Onboarding & general Procurement areas and processes assigned to you. REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor\'s degree, with a minimum of 2-4 years in Procurement & Supplier Management with a strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay, the PR/PO lifecycle, and both U.S. and International Supplier Onboarding / Management. Understanding of Global Indirect Procurement. Preferably must have worked for a technology/IT company Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Functional understanding of legal concepts as related to vendor agreement contracts. Excellent relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, and internal business customers, and senior management. Understanding of accounting/finance practices. With experience working directly with Accounts Payable. Proven ability to drive positive change and build strong stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi-functional teams. Self-starter who can build Supplier Onboarding & Supplier Management credibility within groups not accustomed to working with procurement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Process and customer service driven with a self-starter mentality. EXPERIENCE WITH WORKDAY system IS A PLUS (experience with other P2P platforms such as Zip also a plus). Multi-Lingual and experience working in Japan or S.
