Job description

Manage entire packaging process.
Inspects products prior to packaging and returns rejected products to production departments.
Observes packaging operations and inspects containers to verify conformance to specifications.
Requisitions containers and other supplies for delivery to work stations.
Supervise the finished product labelling and packaging of product.
Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries
Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
Delivers items to customers/dealers /distributors by verifying orders.
Inventories stock.
Arranges transportation.
Ships items by examining items, destination, route, rate, and delivery time; ordering carriers.
Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
Develop delivery routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day.
