Job Description

• To monitor the cost of materials & chemicals utilized for HK Services and to take appropriate steps to reduce the cost
• To adhere to quality protocols as per NABH standards and maintain monthly reports
• To adhere to infection control protocols and review & recommend for the changes if required.
• To assist in preparing the duty rooster of Housekeepers & Attenders.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the whole hospital, machines, equipments etc.
• To interact with patients and to ensure the team members are maintaining a pleasant relationship and appropriate mannerisms with patients/bystanders (Customers)
• Reduce the absenteeism & attrition rate in the department
• Participates in training programs.
• To intend the materials & solutions required and the usage of stock effectively
• Maintain adequate stock of materials & solutions and intent on time whenever required.
• Responsible for the Wheelchairs, structure, cleaning equipments etc and responsible in maintenance and utilization of these equipments effectively
• Assist in maintain CQI metrics and improve the quality of service provided
• Ensure and deliver medicines, structures, wheelchairs, lab collections, files, and other items on time as and when required and as per the orders of the authority.
• Ensure an empathetic and proactive approach to the staff and customers (Patients/bystanders) are followed by self & the team.
• Ensure housekeeping procedures and checklists are in place, maintained, and adhered to.
• Manage job performance and conduct regular reviews
• Make sure that a detailed handover is been given to the next duty staff without any fail.
• Will perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
