Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supervisor to oversee and coordinate various projects within our firm. The Supervisor will be responsible for managing on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities :
• Project Coordination : Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring all activities are carried out as planned.
• Team Management : Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including contractors, subcontractors, and laborers, to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
• Quality Control : Monitor work quality and ensure all construction activities comply with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Scheduling : Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones.
• Resource Management : Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
• Safety Compliance : Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and inspection records.
• Budget Management : Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report any variances to the Project Manager.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Proven experience as a Supervisor in the construction or interior design industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
