Roles and Resposibilities.

• Define an Industrial Engineering roadmap for the entire organization which includes organisation restructuring, capacity planning, white collar productivity
• Drive up time, performance related projects using IE principles.
• Defining areas of adoption of automations to reduce manpower & optimizing the flow.
• Single point authority in defining-supervisory staffing by analyzing the elements of supervision and the span
• Identify areas of capacity improvement programs & driving those through good program management principles.
• Heading the Operational Excellence activities across Corporate & Plant level
• Working inline with Industry 4.0 & IIOT implementation as part of the Digital Transformation process
• Establishing standard time & Standard cost for all machine production activities using IE techniques & balancing the Line.
• Lead, mentor, coach, plant team in IE activities using MOST, SMED, Lean, Six Sigma, & other IE tools.
• Provide leadership to the IE teams across the locations
• People development initiatives in department
• Succession planning in the departmentInitiate & guide the plant IE Team in machine level, dept level, OEE & work out approaches to reach the target.
• Map the capacity of machines, departments & Plant level-product wise & define productivity norms.
• New CAPEX project capacity planning & defining efficiency norms & standards
• Head the administrative functions of the IE department
