Job Description
A Subway sandwich artist's job description includes:
• Food preparation : Making sandwiches, wraps, and other menu items according to customer requests
• Customer service : Greeting customers, taking orders, and providing payment
• Sanitation : Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, utensils, and display cases
• Food safety : Maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
• Temperature control : Preparing and maintaining food at the proper temperatures

Sandwich artists at Subway should also be able to:
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Handle equipment, pans, and pots
• Navigate high and low shelving
• Respond to changes to orders quickly and efficiently
• Lift and carry up to 15 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Maintain personal hygiene standards and follow the Subway uniform guidelines
