Job Title: Science and Math Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science and Math Teacher to join our faculty. As a Science and Math Teacher, you will be responsible for educating middle or high school students in various scientific and mathematical concepts, fostering critical thinking skills, and preparing them for academic success. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both subjects and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the curriculum requirements and align with state standards.

2. Teach middle or high school students various scientific and mathematical concepts through lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.

3. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

4. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.

5. Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning.

6. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding students' progress and behavior.

7. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the overall educational experience.

8. Stay updated on advancements in science and mathematics education and incorporate new methodologies into teaching practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Teaching certification/license in Science and Mathematics (depending on state requirements).

- Proven experience as a Science and Math Teacher or similar role preferred.

- Strong knowledge of middle or high school science and mathematics curricula.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
