Role Overview:

We are seeking highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Experts

(SMEs) in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology to join our academic

content development team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in

teaching higher secondary level students and will be responsible for developing,

reviewing, and refining academic content for textbooks and supplementary

educational materials.

Key Responsibilities:

? Content Development:

o Develop and create high-quality academic content, including textbook

chapters, practice questions, and solutions, for higher secondary level

Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.

o Ensure that all content aligns with the latest curriculum standards and

examination patterns.

o Collaborate with graphic designers and editors to integrate visual aids,

diagrams, and illustrations into the content.

? Content Review and Editing:

o Review and edit academic content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and

appropriateness for the target student audience.

o Perform quality checks to ensure that content is free from errors and is

scientifically sound.

o Provide constructive feedback to junior content developers and

freelancers, ensuring consistency and high standards in all content.

? Research and Curriculum Alignment:

o Stay updated with the latest developments in the respective subject

areas and incorporate new findings into the content.

o Align content with various educational boards' syllabi (e.g., CBSE,

State Boards, ICSE) to cater to a broader audience.

o Conduct competitive analysis to ensure that the company's publications

are at the forefront of the market.

? Training and Support:

o Conduct training sessions for junior content developers and freelancers

on subject-specific content creation.

o Provide subject matter expertise during the design and development of

new academic products and projects.

? Collaboration:

o Work closely with the editorial and production teams to ensure timely

delivery of content.

o Collaborate with other SMEs to maintain consistency and coherence

across different subject areas.

Qualifications:

? A Master's degree or higher in the relevant subject (Mathematics, Physics,

Chemistry, Botany, or Zoology).

? A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree is required.

? A minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching higher secondary level

students (Grades 9-12).

? Strong command of the subject matter with the ability to explain complex

concepts in a clear and concise manner.

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Experience in academic content development or publishing is a plus.

? In-depth knowledge of the subject and its applications.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality educational

content.

? Proficiency in using educational technology and content development tools.

? Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
