Job overview :

We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Electrical Installation to join our team. The SME will be responsible for providing specialized knowledge, insights, and expertise to support projects, onsite training, and development in the electrical installation field. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the highest standards of electrical installation practices are maintained and advanced.

Key responsibilities :

Expert Consultation : Provide expert advice and technical guidance on electrical installation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Training and Development : Design, develop, and deliver onsite training programs and workshops for employees, apprentices, and clients on best practices in electrical installation.

Project Support : Assist project teams with complex electrical installation challenges, offering solutions and recommendations based on advanced knowledge and experience.

Quality Assurance : Conduct quality assessments and audits of electrical installations to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical manuals, and guidelines, related to electrical installation.

Research and Innovation : Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations in electrical installation, and integrate this knowledge into organizational practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders to align electrical installation practices with project goals and organizational objectives.

Problem Solving : Analyse and resolve complex issues related to electrical installations, providing timely expert solutions and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology. Advanced certifications or licenses are preferred.

Experience : 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, with a proven track record of expertise in the field.

Knowledge : In-depth understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC). Familiarity with the latest tools, equipment, and technologies used in electrical installation.

Skills :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Proficient in technical writing and documentation.

Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.

Certifications : Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certified Electrical Professional) are highly desirable.

Additional Requirements :

Travel : Willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.

Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical tasks associated with electrical installation work.

Job Type: Full-time
