Student Recruitment & Events Assistant, Delhi, IndiaReference number: JR244312Location: Delhi, IndiaWorking pattern: 9:30 a.m. xe2x80x93 6:00 p.m. (IST) (need to be flexible for coverage)Contract Type: PermanentNumber of roles: 1Salary: CompetitiveWe are looking for Student Recruitment & Events Assistant to join our team.As a Student Recruitment and Events Assistant you will be working as part of the Kaplan team which supports the University of Glasgowxe2x80x99s (UofG) Recruitment and International Relations team, which is part of the UofG External Relations Directorate. This Directorate of over 200 staff is responsible for attracting the very best students from across the UK and the world to the UofGxe2x80x99s undergraduate and postgraduate courses. This post sits within Kaplan, but working closely with the UofGxe2x80x99s International Recruitment and International Team and this team is responsible for meeting the challenging international KPIs as laid out in Global Glasgow.   • Degree level education in (preferably) English-speaking country
  • Up to date knowledge of education systems and government policy in India
  • Up to date knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and application
systems (e.g., UCAS)
  • Some knowledge of broader external international education market environment
  • Working knowledge of databases, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and web-based research
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to multi-task and act with discretion at all times
  • A customer-centric approach to work
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent time management, administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Self-motivation and flexibility, able to work under own direction and initiative, with an ability to identify and resolve unforeseen issues and challenges
  • Excellent Presentation skills, experience in delivering presentations to large groups of stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fully English language work environment
  • At least 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience with the above qualifications or evidence of progression and development gained through 4+ years relevant work experience
  • Experience in a customer-facing role and a customer-focussed approach to Work
  • Experience planning and organising events
  • Experience of managing and processing data
Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage logistical arrangements
  • Lead and execute a wide range of marketing, agent support and pipeline management activities
  • Represent and Promote the University to stakeholders
  • Develop and Maintain excellent relationships
  • Manage school newsletters, and provide presentations
  • Support wider team in maintaining the Universityxe2x80x99s agency network in India
  • Contribute to market research for India and South Asia
  • Assist in the scholarship selection process
  • Support, advise on, and execute when necessary, compliance related activities
