We at IIDE are looking for a competent Student Life Associate / Assistant Manager Student Life to oversee and organize events that will create a lasting impact on our student community. You will ensure the success of events by focusing on creative execution while adhering to budget and time constraints. We're seeking candidates with fresh, innovative ideas that align with IIDEs culture and current trends. The ideal candidate will also have a solid grasp of marketing and promotional techniques to maximize event reach and engagement.Key Responsibilities:Brainstorm and implement event concepts that resonate with students and stakeholdersDevelop detailed event proposals and secure approval from relevant stakeholdersManage and adhere to event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutionsDocument event expenses and process invoices for accurate financial reportingSource, negotiate, and coordinate with vendors and suppliersEnsure smooth event logistics and timely delivery of all event elementsCollaborate with the Social Media team to ensure coverage and promotion of eventsPrepare post-event reports, analyzing expenses and event success metricsStudent-Centric Responsibilities:Lead and implement initiatives aligned with the objectives of the Student Life divisionManage student orientation programs to introduce new students to campus life and foster engagementServe as a key point of communication for students, including maintaining the student handbook & newsletterOversee the execution of student events like volunteer activities, sports, entertainment, and cultural celebrationsCoordinate large-scale campus events such as graduation ceremonies and national day celebrationsSupport student development, leadership and counseling programs to enhance their overall campus experienceAct as a guide for Student Council, groups/clubs, providing mentorship and logistical supportCollaborate with academics and central services for event-related data and reportingRequirements & Skills:Candidates with minimum 1 year of experience in event management / student lifeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)A degree in Event management, Hospitality, PR, Marketing, or related fields is preferredPassion for creating engaging events and fostering campus culture
