Student Counselor
Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Provide academic counseling to students to meet their educational and career goals.
• Create an individualized plan to support each student in reaching their academic targets according to their personal strengths and circumstances.
• Provide students with encouraging and individualized feedback that will foster academic and personal growth.
• Provide leadership and guidance to students on behavioral and social issues.
• Act as a mentor and role model for students, helping them to develop the necessary skills for self-advocacy, academic progress, and goal-setting.
• Identify and refer students needing additional services to appropriate resources.
• Attend and participate in school or district activities.
• Maintain confidential files, documenting student progress, educational plans, and other relevant information.
• Develop and adjust lesson plans and curricula as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
