Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing guidance, emotional support, and academic advice to students, helping them navigate personal, social, and academic challenges. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive and positive environment for students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students regarding academic, personal, and social challenges.
• Assist students in developing effective coping strategies and time management skills.
• Offer guidance on academic performance, career planning, and future educational opportunities.
• Identify and refer students to relevant resources, including external support services, when necessary.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents to address student concerns and ensure a holistic support system.
• Conduct workshops and group sessions on stress management, career development, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Stay updated with current trends and best practices in student counseling and mental health.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a counselor or in a related role within an educational setting.
• Fluency in English is mandatory --both verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong listening and empathy skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Certification in Counseling or related fields.
• Experience working with adolescents or young adults.
• Knowledge of educational psychology or guidance counselin

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
