Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Structural Steel Detailer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurgaon \xe2\x80\x93 India

Work Type - Fixed Term Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the work of draftspersons and senior draftspersons in the preparation of GA Erection, Assembly and Part Drawings, record keeping and other statistical work
• Work on softwares like Tekla and X-Steel for Steel Detailing developing 3D models
• Produce GA Erection, Assembly and Part Drawings.
• Check drawings prior to release
• Ensure coordination with designers and engineers of other disciplines
• Perform interface check with Engineering models
• Verify onsite condition and dimensions relating to existing facilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Engineering diploma (N Dip) or equivalent (civil/structural)
• Minimum of 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Steel Detailing
• Proficient in Steel detailing softwares like Tekla and X-Steel
• Excellent experience on creating and developing 3D models and drawing extraction using Tekla and X-Steel
• Experience within a large project, multidisciplinary EPCM environment
• Experience with heavy industrial structures
• Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations and codes pertinent to the design and systems related to the project
• Understanding of other discipline requirements
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good safety awareness.
• Ability to take ownership and Responsibility of assigned work
