Job Description

Responsibilities of structural engineers on building projects includes:

• Generating comprehensive plans and specifications for the substructure, accounting for factors such as soil conditions, building requirements, and local regulations.
• Calculating stresses and loads to determine the structural requirements of the building, ensuring it can withstand anticipated forces and environmental conditions.
• Incorporating support beams, columns, and foundations into substructure plans, meticulously designing each element to fulfil its intended function and uphold the stability of the edifice.

Construction Projects

Coordinate with multiple teams to determine project scopes of work, including space planning, layout and final scheme.

Work with design civil team to manage workload and deadlines and maintained project schedule and budgets.

Coordinated with clients, architects, construction personnel, installation personnel, and design team to achieve project deliverables.

Scheduled and attended site visits to measure and photograph spaces, to review and approve information and installations.

Attended client appointments or site visit to observe installation and project management process.

Travel potential sites in advance of the Design civil team to provide basic information for their preparation and presentation.
