Job Summary: As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings, bridges, dams, and other infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis: Conduct structural analysis using software tools and manual calculations to ensure designs meet safety and performance requirements. Evaluate the strength and stability of structures under various conditions (e.g., wind, seismic activity).
• Material Selection: Recommend appropriate construction materials based on design specifications, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability goals. Evaluate the quality and suitability of materials for specific applications.
• Construction Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase. Review construction plans, specifications, and quality control measures to ensure adherence to design requirements and industry standards.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and hazards related to structural integrity. Develop mitigation strategies and solutions to address structural deficiencies or failures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, and other professionals to integrate structural requirements into overall project design. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports, drawings, and specifications. Maintain accurate records of design decisions, calculations, and project documentation.
