Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Steel Detailer/Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0-2 years of experience in steel detailing and drafting. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to create accurate and detailed drawings for steel structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and models for steel structures using AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar software.
• Create shop and fabrication drawings from architectural and structural plans.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve any design or detailing issues.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback or changes in project scope.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software; knowledge of Tekla Structures is a plus.
• Basic understanding of steel structures and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.

Salary: Salary will depend on the candidate's experience and qualifications, with a minimum starting salary of 18,000.
