Immediate Requirement for Structural Design Engineer in SOLAR INDUSTRY

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Structural Design and Analysis: To Conduct structural analysis and design for solar mounting systems, including ground-mounted, rooftop, and tracker-based installations. Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (IS, IEC, and local standards).

2. Site Assessments: To Perform on-site evaluations to assess soil conditions, wind loads, and topography .To Provide structural recommendations based on site-specific constraints.

3. Material Specification: To Specify and select structural materials such as steel, concrete, and aluminum. To Optimize material usage to ensure cost-efficiency without compromising safety and quality.

4. Foundation Design: To Design foundations (pile, ballast, or RCC) for solar installations. To Collaborate with geo technical teams for soil testing and foundation stability.

5. Quality Assurance: To Inspect fabrication and erection of structural components to ensure adherence to design specifications. To Develop and implement quality control processes.

6. Collaboration: To Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure structural designs are integrated with overall project plans.

7. Documentation: To Prepare and maintain structural design calculations, drawings, and reports. To Ensure timely submission of documents for client approvals.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 3-7 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural analysis tools (STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar).o Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar drafting software. To Familiarity with wind load, seismic design, and material strength calculations.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?600,000.00 per year
