Job Title : Structural Design Engineer (Fresher/1-Year Experience)

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of professional experience in structural engineering. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to design and analyze structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural components, including steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures.
• Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports for structural integrity and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to deliver optimized designs.
• Use structural analysis and design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE or SAP2000 to develop accurate models.
• Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and material take-offs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Participate in site visits to gather data and ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.

Qualifications

Education:

• Masters In Structure.

Experience:

• Fresher or up to one year of relevant experience in structural design or engineering.

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of structural design principles and practices.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS).
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS codes, Eurocodes, AISC, ACI).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools such as Revit or Tekla Structures.
• Basic understanding of geotechnical principles and their impact on structural design.
• Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices in structural engineering.
