This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to our dynamic Cement Business Development & Transformation team and play a crucial part in our divestment exploration process.FLSmidth Group has embarked on a journey to explore divestment opportunities for FLSmidth Cement. In addition to supporting the divestment process, this role will be instrumental in driving key strategic projects and supporting Cement senior management in orchestrating and communicating clear strategic focus in line with our Green26 strategy. This position is based in Chennai, India or Copenhagen, Denmark.Your ResponsibilitiesContribute to developing and implementing strategies that enable the Cement business to meet its ambitious growth and transformation objectives, as outlined in the Green26 strategyDrive multifunctional transformation projects with complex stakeholder involvement, several sub-workstreams to ensure well-planned execution - including the divestment processDesign and drive change management initiatives to ensure the new strategic direction is truly embedded in the organizationEngage and work closely with business leaders and key stakeholders across the organizationMaintain an up-to-date perspective on the movements in the Cement industry, including competition, industry trends, mergers and divestments, business development opportunitiesReport status of initiatives supporting the strategic and transformational directionYour QualificationsM.Sc. or MBA from a globally recognized university3+ years of experience from a management consulting company or from a corporate strategy departmentExcellent stakeholder management with C-level leaders; comfortable with ambiguity and experience driving organizational and cultural changesOutstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights, and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems, incl. using Excel to structure analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to structure clear and impactful storylines supported with quantitative analysis for executive audiencesEnergetic, positive mindset, and a commitment to collaboration as a core valueM&A experience either as in-house or advisor is considered an advantageWhat We OfferA unique position to define strategy, implement strategic initiatives and drive transformational changes in an inspiring and purpose-driven organizationPlay a vital role in an exciting M&A process and get management exposure from early onA culture of openness and respect for new ideas, providing the opportunity to drive impactful change from day oneA flat hierarchical structure, ensuring a short distance from analysis to decision-makingAttractive pension, health insurance, and compensation packageApplication and contactPlease apply by clicking apply on this page.
