Combine that with our drive to propel with purpose and you have the perfect playground to collaborate, innovate, grow, and make an impact that matters.Your work profileThe Strategic, Risk and Transaction team is looking to expand its Project Management Office (PMO) to have better visibility on the projects and to ensure better tracking of the end-to-end project management - Creation, Conversion to live engagements, Invoice generation and Receipt of payments. The candidate in the PMO team is also envisaged to take on tasks related to regular monitoring of activity levels within the function and be the central point of contact for all reporting requirements within the firm.

  • Work as part of a team, analyzing industries, companies and markets to drive unique insights to aid clients\' strategic decisions.
  • This is a client-facing role, which might involve interaction with corporate CXOs and investment teams of financial sponsors and asset managers.
  • Work with some of the most intellectually stimulating clients
  • Perform high quality analysis within timelines and with minimum supervision
  • Display energy, positive attitude and team work on engagements and act upon feedback and coaching received
  • Attempt to increase realization per hour on projects by working efficiently and minimizing inefficiencies.
  • Establish strong connections with the client team and keep them engaged on key findings during the course of project
  • Should have the ability to draw out conclusions from the project modules where they are responsible.
ObjectivesThe key activities that would be undertaken by the candidate would include, but not limited to:Project tracking
  • Collaborating with department leaders /Partners to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Providing financial reports and budget outlines to leadership.
  • Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
  • Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
  • To facilitate tracking of time-booking on engagements, calculating, monitoring, and providing the utilization of the team on a periodic (fortnightly/monthly) basis
  • To keep track of and report on new joiners and exits within the team and be responsible for triggering periodic discussions around hiring and people strategy in general.
  • To ensure invoices are raised on a periodic basis and collected within firms\' predefined timelines.
Skills Required are as below, but not limited to:
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office - Excel (must), PowerPoint (working knowledge), working experience with any CRM (like Salesforce), and or ERP (like SAP) software.
  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, handle pressure and work on multiple tasks independently.
  • Detailed orientated, excellent organizational and technical skills.
  • Experience of leading a team on critical projects (professional / extracurriculars) is a plus.
Educational and experience requirement
  • A bachelor's degree in either Accounting / Management field is required. Candidates with MBA in Finance and or operations or relevant PMP certification may be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years\' experience in the industry.
Location and way of working
  • Base location: Mumbai
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
