• Position: Strategic Sourcing Specialist
• Job Type: Permanent
• Location: Delhi, India (Hybrid)
• Experience required: A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Sourcing or Supplier Management is required, Prior manufacturing experience (e.g., final assembly , casting, forging, stamping, machining, plastic injection molding, elastomers, finishing) is desired.
• Shift: flexible- 11 am IST onwards overlapping 4.5 hrs EST+PST time zone
• Work hours: total 9 hrs. (8.5 hrs. working+ Half an hour meal break)
• CTC: As per market standards
• Notice period: (Immediate joiner preferred) candidate serving notice period with 30 -45 working days.
• Assessment Test: (based on role requirement) will be required to take a skill assessment test prior interview.
• Must have Broadband availability: Min 30MBPS (national service provider JIO/TATA/Airtel Hathway etc.)
• Access to a quiet home office environment with broadband availability.
• Important: Access to a quiet home office environment with above mentioned broadband availability and working space to accommodate two monitors +1 Laptop. (based on role requirement)

Job Summary:

• As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist at Masco Home Products India (MHPI), you will support Enterprise Business Unit teams in India with supplier prospecting, sourcing, and project management. In this role, you will engage with new and existing vendors, conduct initial assessments, and make recommendations for potential sourcing opportunities. You will collaborate closely with the Quality team to arrange and execute vendor assessments, audit evaluations, and implement root cause countermeasures. Additionally, you will also support initial negotiations and take a lead role in project managing initiatives with the Suppliers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Previous supplier management experience and knowledge of procurement best practices are required.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with suppliers and internal team members to ensure successful execution of sourcing activities.
• Support supplier management through regular visits, assessing capacity and capabilities, and identifying cost savings opportunities.
• Lead supplier prospecting initiatives by identifying, evaluating, quoting and onboarding new sources.
• Oversee new vendor onboarding, ensuring accurate assessments, audits, documentation, and contracts are established.
• Lead, monitor, manage, and report project progress, ensuring vendor deliverables are received on-time and in line with project objectives.
• Conduct negotiations and provide comprehensive cost and quotation analysis when required.
• Manage vendor management activities post product launch, identifying potential supply chain disruptions and ensuring timely execution of vendor corrective actions.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to make informed sourcing decisions.
• All other duties the supervisor/company might assign.

Must have key skills:



• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use a computer for 8.5 hours per day.
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and timelines with competing deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Sourcing or Supplier Management is required.
• Prior manufacturing experience (e.g., final assembly, casting, forging, stamping, machining, plastic injection molding, elastomers, finishing) is desired.
• Expect moderate travel (approximately 50%) to outlying production facilities and suppliers. Occasional International travel may be required.
Education & Certification

• 4-year Degree required in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
