Minimum qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in vendor management, supplier management, or service delivery management.
  • Experience working with executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master\'s degree or MBA.
  • 8 years of experience in strategic business partnership and account management roles.
  • 8 years of experience in customer-facing role, driving large-scale and complex programs.
  • Experience managing contingent workforce strategies and initiatives across functions.
  • Experience in working with and managing partners in complex programs.
  • Experiencing engaging with executive stakeholders (e.g., Director).

Google\'s line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google\'s partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google\'s newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce. gTech\'s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team empowers Product Areas (PAs) to optimize external operations while reducing risks and driving efficiency through the enforcement of Google best practices and policies. We ensure our partners find the right talent in the right locations. Our collaboration across Google leads is to streamline processes, minimizing administrative burdens and optimizing the extended workforce (xW) experience. We ensure Google\'s policies and guidelines are consistently adhered to. The Partner Engagement team builds essential relationships with Product Areas (PAs), Bets, Functions, and the Global Procurement Office (GPO). Our mission is to facilitate xW success, enforcing compliance, building resilient operations, and promoting durable cost savings. We prioritize understanding user needs to develop solutions. In this role, you will navigate ambiguity, provide clarity, and focus on results that optimize Google\'s extended workforce. You will shape Google\'s strategy in impacting regulatory, commercial, and operational decisions. Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with executive decision-makers and support category lead with Director-level engagement, gaining an understanding of their strategic priorities within product areas and bets.
  • Be responsible for shaping and enforcing cost effective practices, adherence to xWS policies upskill PAs on best practices, with oversight from category lead.
  • Understand executive decision-maker business objectives, operations model, structure, demand vs capacity needs and work with category lead to educate xWS with ongoing strategic insight.
  • Support extensive change management within PAs to launch multiple large-scale enterprise-wide xWS efforts, consult executive decision-makers on xWS policies and understand impact of changes.
  • Apply understanding of cost-saving strategies and regulatory compliance requirements to position xWS solutions that drive results while mitigating risk.
