Strategic Account Manager

Position Description:

The Strategic Account Manager position is primarily responsible for revenue generation through strategic alliances with existing and new customers. The Account Manager will identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability, and has responsibilities directly related to making sales to include: meeting with customers at the customer's site or online, communicating with customers via phone, email, and teleconference, providing subject matter expertise regarding marketing challenges; advising customers on suitability of products

and solutions based on their marketing needs, preparing proposals, presentations, pricing and contracts, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solution.

This position requires an in?depth knowledge of B2B Marketing, ABM and Demand Generation based solutions.

Principle Accountabilities

• Contact businesses within the given region, perform needs analysis and provide proposals to these customers and also establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Stay current with changes and developments in the B2B Marketing industry. This includes gathering competitive information on products and services, and sharing this information with the product development, marketing, customer service, and executive teams.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts and maintain accurate records of sales contracts, customer interactions, and sales activities.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, whilecoordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
• Responsible for the initial configuration of all regulated and deregulated products and services, which may require written proposals or product demonstrations.
• Conduct market research and identify new sales opportunities.
• Negotiate sales contracts and pricing with customers.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and Customer Success, toensure successful campaign launches and customer satisfaction.
• Develop trusted partner relationships with key customers to retain and grow revenuesover time.
• Participate in revenue budget forecasting and ongoing budget variance reporting.
• Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential customers and stay up to date on industry trends.

Education and Experience Required

• Masters/Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related field. ( Relevant business sales experience may be substituted)
• Min 2-3+ years of experience in sales, marketing, product development or related experience.
• Strong background of revenue growth in related positions within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?330,151.08 - ?1,407,176.49 per year
