We are currently looking for a S4 STP MRP-Planned Materials Lead to join us at our facility in Gurgaon, India.


The Planned Materials Lead is responsible for the overall strategy of how relevant direct and indirect MRP-planned materials will be procured via the S4/HANA and the Ariba Network. This position is responsible for providing thought leadership with both processes and system configurations for the upcoming regional deployments of the system Global Template. Ongoing localization activities include, conducting cross-functional process localization design sessions mainly within Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance, development/configuration of solution, solution testing, master/transaction data migrations, delivery of end user trainings and providing post-deployment support and guidance to members of the Global Procurement Organization.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with members of the local business to ensure localization requirements are properly identified, captured, configured in accordance with requirements and successfully tested and incorporated into the Global Template for the upcoming NA, LATAM, EMEA and APAC regional deployments
• Partner with the Organization Change Management Horizontal Workstream to ensure all training content is updated with newly identified localization requirements, learning curriculums are complete and the proper audience is identified for super user and end user training sessions
• Work closely with the STP Data & Analytics Lead and Data Horizontal Workstream to ensure all active MRP-planned material outline agreements are converted to Purchase Info Records and active Business Partners are properly de-duplicated, cleansed, and constructed to ensure all master data objects are all properly migrated to the S4 environment. Also work to ensure all active Purchase Orders which are not fully received are re-created in S4
• Ensures that item-level system setups are properly configured across the Direct Materials, Resale Trade Goods, Packaging, and Site Materials & Services categories
• Maintains close collaborative working relationships with the Supply Chain, Finance, Technology, Data Workstreams along with members of the Global Procurement Organization and members of Axalta's System Integrator Partner (currently Tata Consultancy Services)
• Act as a liaison to members of the Global Procurement Team as it relates to the overall Business Transformation Project
• Work to ensure suppliers are ready to transact with Axalta via the Ariba Network at-go live

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in business management, supply chain management, or equivalent field
• 5 years of strategic sourcing and category management experience in a global industrial organization
• Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and evolving high-value category strategies in a complex, matrix environment
• Prior substantive Global ERP and/or Ariba system implementation experience
• Experience across MRP-planned Direct and Indirect categories preferred
• Ability to adjust working hours across time zones to participate in project management meetings and events
