STP Manager

Experience: 2 - 15 Years

Qualification: BE/Diploma EHS

Location: Embassy Manyata Business Park, Bangalore.

:

• Ensure the all STP is maintained and Water is getting treated as per norms and per the client requirement.
• To ensure all water supply and distribution systems, main & sub storage tanks for raw water, treated water supply system is maintained properly.
• Maintaining documents as per the requirements of Client.
• To assist in installing new equipment and systems, troubleshoot and repair equipments if required.
• To study equipment performance timely and update observations to Block In-charges and EHS Manager
• To monitor, coordinate and escort the vendor activities for quality work with all fire and safety measures.
• To maintain proper operational records and logs as necessary and as instructed.
• To respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
• To maintain stock/inventory trackers.
• To ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated with necessary control measures and follow hierarchy of eliminating risk factors while working.
• Observe the abnormalities/unsafe conditions/unsafe acts and escalate and close the observed issues.
• To ensure zero accidents, zero incidents and 100% upkeep and uptime of all equipments.
• All workers are instructed in the safe performance of their duties.
• To ensure activities are performed with all safety measures and with quality work.
• Any unsafe conditions are corrected without delay.

• To ensure all operators are aware of single line diagram of system and STP equipment operations.
• To assist team on water treatment process.
• Coordinating with client and meeting the safety requirements.
• Conducting periodical Site EHS Inspections & report the finding for corrective action.
• Preparing Risk Assessment and Safe work methods for all the activities.
• To ensure all STP operators and Supervisors are well groomed and all safety gadgets are used while performing certain activity in the work premises.
• To monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
• To identify the requirement of vendor works and permit for the same on approval from authority.
• Organize materials that is required for the technical works by in-house or vendor team if any.
• To monitor warranty deadlines and AMCs and act accordingly.
• Preparation of maintenance concepts, improvement proposals as well as substance evaluations for the plant related maintenance.
• There is a safe means of entry to and exit from the work area.
• Ensure compliance to all security, safety, as well as operational procedures.
• To perform other tasks as directed by Superiors.
• To train and get trained for specific work related activities.
• To perform duties with high level of Integrity, Commitment and responsibility.
• To abide by company rules and policies.
