Stores Incharge Factory
Job Description
A store incharge's responsibilities may vary depending on the industry, but generally include:
• Maintaining inventory Managing stock levels, receiving and storing products, and keeping records of stock movements
• Ensuring quality Ensuring materials are received properly, and that finished products are dispatched correctly
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment Ensuring the store is clean and organized, and that it complies with health and safety regulations
• Preparing reports Preparing monthly store reconciliation statements, and MIS on a daily basis
In the manufacturing industry, a store incharge may also be responsible for: Materials layout, Following up on returnable materials, and Verifying bills from the plant head.
