Job Title: Store Executive

Reports to : Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-time

Location - Hyderabad

job Summary : We are looking for a meticulous and organized Store Executive to manage inventory, materials, and supplies in our warehouse for the automation solutions and PVC pipe manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will oversee stock levels, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials. This role demands strong organizational skills, inventory management knowledge, and a proactive approach to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Conduct regular stock audits, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances to the Store Manager.
• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods are accounted for and documented accurately.

Material Handling and Storage:

• Oversee the proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of materials to optimize warehouse space.
• Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other industry-standard inventory methods to reduce wastage, particularly for PVC materials and automation parts.
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials, finished products, and spare parts, notifying the procurement team when reorder levels are reached.

Coordination and Communication:

• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure materials are available as per production schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers for deliveries and manage inbound and outbound logistics to avoid production delays.
• Generate and share regular inventory reports and updates with relevant departments.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Inspect incoming materials and products for quality and quantity accuracy before storing them.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and storage requirements, especially for automation equipment and PVC materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse .

Record Keeping and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, including receipts, returns, and transfers.
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory usage, stock levels, and potential shortages.
• Assist in generating and processing purchase orders and invoices in collaboration with the accounts and procurement teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in store or warehouse management, ideally in the manufacturing, automation, or PVC pipe industry.
• Familiarity with warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems) is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and stock control processes .
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with inventory tracking software.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in managing records and reports .
