• Perform routine inspections of store equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify issues and initiate repair or maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repair and maintenance tasks that are beyond internal capabilities.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment and facilities are kept in optimal working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of repair and maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory levels, and equipment manuals.
• Monitor inventory levels of repair parts, tools, and supplies, and reorder items as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine the appropriate course of action for repair or replacement.
• Train store staff on basic repair and maintenance procedures to enhance operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing repair and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and facilities management, to streamline repair and maintenance processes and optimize resource utilization.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in repair and maintenance to continuously improve operational effectiveness.
