Job Description

The Store Executive will assist in the effective management of inventory and store operations within the forging and machining division. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material handling, and performing basic data entry tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, familiarity with inventory control procedures, and proficiency in data entry.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

Assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to meet production needs.

Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Support the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming materials and supplies.

Help in organizing and categorizing inventory to facilitate efficient retrieval and usage.

Store Operations:

Aid in the day-to-day operations of the store, including material handling and distribution.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Support the implementation of effective storage solutions to optimize space and workflow.

Ensure proper labeling and tagging of inventory items.

Data Entry and Documentation:

Perform basic data entry tasks to update inventory records in the database.

Accurately record stock movements and transactions in the inventory management system.

Generate and maintain inventory reports and logs as required.

Assist in preparing documents and records for audits and compliance purposes.

Supplier Coordination:

Assist in liaising with suppliers and vendors to coordinate deliveries and returns.

Help in managing supplier documentation and communications.

Support the resolution of any issues related to material quality or delivery schedules.

Support and Collaboration:

Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.

Provide support in resolving inventory discrepancies or issues.

Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and best practices.

Work closely with the Store Manager and other team members to achieve operational goals.

Compliance and Safety:

Follow company policies, industry standards, and safety protocols in all store operations.

Participate in safety training and adhere to safety guidelines.

Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, store operations, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Basic experience with data entry and using inventory management software.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of inventory management practices and systems.

Proficient in data entry and comfortable using software applications for inventory tracking.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

Personal Attributes:

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Capable of handling physical tasks related to inventory management.

Proactive and willing to learn and adapt to new processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
