: Storeman/Woman

Job Summary:

A Storeman/Woman is responsible for the efficient and accurate management of inventory within a warehouse or storage facility. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming goods for quantity and quality.
• Store goods in designated areas according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with physical inventory counts.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification (preferred).
