We are looking for a restaurant storekeeper manages the inventory and operations of a restaurant's store.
Responsibilities :
• Ordering and receiving : Placing orders for supplies, such as cooking utensils, tableware, and cleaning items, and receiving the supplies
• Stock management : Tracking stock levels, verifying supplies, and rotating stock
• Quality control : Checking the quality of deliveries and inspecting them for damage or discrepancies
• Inventory maintenance : Replenishing supplies, labeling and pricing goods, and ensuring the first in first out (FIFO) method is followed
• Documentation : Ensuring proper documentation is completed for orders and purchases
• Reporting : Reporting damaged inventory and generating a material received report
• Warehouse management : Coordinating the movement of equipment and freight, and keeping inventory organized
• Sales record : Keeping a record of sales
• Safety : Maintaining a clean, safe, and neat working environment
Qualifications & Skills :
• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
• 3-5 years of retail sales experience
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
