Job Summary:
The Store Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Customer Service:
- Drive sales to meet and exceed store targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
2. Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate sales targets, promotions, and updates.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales and service goals.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
3. Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock is accurately accounted for.
- Implement and maintain store policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring the store is always presentable.
- Plan and execute effective store layouts and displays.
- Ensure that all products are well-presented and priced correctly.
5. Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage store budgets and expenses.
- Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and banking.
6. Technology Integration:
- Stay updated with the latest retail technologies and incorporate them into store operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the retail industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and retail management software.
- Passion for fashion and knowledge of the latest trends.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
