Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Store Manager to oversee the inventory and supply chain operations at our construction site. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing construction materials, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the timely availability of supplies to support project needs. Proper understanding of FIFO method. Management reporting on periodic basis regarding all inventories whether in store of stacked somewhere.

Skills

Proven experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably in a construction or industrial environment.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in handling construction materials.

Key Responsibility

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the site store, including receiving, storing, and distributing construction materials and equipment.

Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages.

Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure the availability of materials in line with project schedules.

Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems and processes.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the quality and compliance of stored materials.

Supervise store personnel, providing training and guidance as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the store area.

Handle any discrepancies in inventory, shipments, or deliveries, and resolve issues promptly.

Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock movement, and other relevant data to management.

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships and negotiate favourable terms.

Coordination with quality check team to check the quality of material before accepting the materials.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
