Job Description


Job Title: Store/Depot Manager
Reporting to- AGM Operations
Job location- Mohali Job Summary: The Store/Depot Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring efficient and effective performance in various areas such as inventory maintenance & management, billing and Labor management. Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Hiring, training, and supervising staff such as helpers & workers. Scheduling shifts and managing overtimes (if any). Motivating and leading the team to achieve sales and operational goals.
To handle team grievances Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining Minimum Stock levels. Implementing inventory control measures to prevent shortage and breakage. Overseeing stock replenishment and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Achieving the sales/dispatch targets. Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations of the store or depot. Implementing and improving operational processes. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Implementing safety protocols and training programs. Billing and Daily MIS: Taking care of the billing of orders
Maintaining MIS on daily basis
Generating and analyzing reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators & share with reporting manager Implementing cost-control measures. Safety and Security: Ensuring a safe and secure work environment. Implementing safety protocols and training programs. Preventing and addressing security issues, such as theft or vandalism. Vendor and Supplier Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers. Negotiating contracts and agreements with vendors. Monitoring the quality of goods received. Technology and Systems: Good hand on softwares such as ERP and inventory management software. Qualifications and Skills: Any graduate or Bachelor\'s degree in material management (preferred). Proven experience in store management, with a track record of achieving sales targets. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with inventory management systems. Ability to prepare reports and make data-driven decisions. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to 25,000.00 per month Benefits:
