Description: Location: Mohali / Ludhiana / Delhi / Chandigarh Exp: 2 to 3 Years Position Summary: Plan and supervise business activities for \'STORE\' towards achievement of \'Estimated Sales\' in line with company business plan, bearing in mind set policies, company image and interest Key Performance Indicator(KPIs): Achieve 100 % estimate for store for TEST (SEST) in turnover Ensure: TALY (SALY) growth: FSC: Min. 112% FAM: Min. 108% by value NFT % contribution: FSC: Min.8% FAM: Min. 7% MSI for Store: FSC: Min. 1.75 FAM: Min. 1.5 Stock More than 10 Months old: Nil Shortage in Cash & Stocks: Nil Key Accountabilities/Job Scope: Job Scope Store administration Excellence Manage a Bata store within the policies and guidelines of the company to ensure customer satisfaction and turnover maximization Total operational and financial responsibility for the assigned store Provide overall leadership, recognize and motivate members of the team coach and train the team for operational excellence/passion to serve Directly perform hands on work on an ongoing basis to train employees, respond to customer service needs, or otherwise role model appropriate behavior in the store Key Accountabilities under the Job scope Business Plan achievement Achieve Business plan as per Estimates - Sales (SEST & TEST - Pairs & Value) Consistently enhance performance through review & monitoring periodical performance (weekly & monthly) of Sales promoters. Business performance review Ensure maintenance of company Prosperity Card permanent prosperity card performance review card Daily mirror and Individual prosperity card for sales promoters Ensure sales staff are assessed on daily weekly basis (Pairs Turnover MSI NFT%) Improvement for key parameters for stores: Conversion Rate ASP MSI NFT% Undertake weekly daily meeting with store staff to discuss & review Communicate Target for week & day Review store/ salesman performance: for day & week Individual prosperity card Communicate new launches received display & provide product knowledge Plan action for clearance of stocks: Slow sellers special promotions discounted stocks Implement directions given by DM in Working Program Merchandise Management Ensure \'Stock standard\' across stores are maintained (Totally and across categories) within the approved level. Achieve overall stock turn in pairs & value as per company norms (presently: 3) Follow up with district manager for Proper supplies (across categories) for stocks Plan schedule for store re-supplies (Route Planning) Peak-season & local festival special requirements Ensure selling of stocks within 10 months of launch at stores Plan visit (individually or with DM) to institutions factories schools to secure/follow-up bulk orders, and inform District manager to evaluate feasibility for servicing special orders Inform & update seasonal slow moving articles for corrective action by concerned (DM/RM) Initiate actions (post approvals) for excess stocks no. of lines and re-grouping of broken lines Store Management Control day to day operations by scheduling sales promoters and assigning productivity norms. Ensure shop open & fully ready during business hours as decided by company. Also ensure extended hours (if required) as per market requirements in accordance with provisions of law Ensure maintenance of proper ambience and hygiene for store in accordance with guidelines of company. (Store selling area, stock area, stock, furniture, and fixtures) Propose, seek approval and execute minor renovations for existing stores. Undertake minor repairs directly as per chart of authority Maintain daily attendance through POS & manual recording. Submit attendance to chain office (COCO) Agency (K-Store) every fortnight/ monthly (as per Bata calendar) post approval of DM Accounting & cash management Undertake cash & article (category) inventory every fortnight & initiate action to correct the stock in POS Prepare check, scrutinize all stock & cash accounting statements, data sheets before sending to DM on HQ days To check & ensure settlement for 02 (Goods on way inventory) 1016 (Money on way) 1046 - (Suspense account) & 08B/I - (Claim goods on way) Control expenses and see that expenditures incurred as per Chart of authority Check cash flow at store level and Cash Management System (CMS) Undertake Price inventory and furniture/ fixture statement once every season. Visual Merchandising & display Ensure store display as per company visual display guidelines Ensure \'Theme of Month\' is implemented in store Proper display area (zone corner panel) for special Promotions & discounted stock in store Manpower Management Ensure number of manpower in line with store productivity norms Review manpower requirement for peak seasons (Festivals/ school) and propose to DM Propose new sales staff to DM approaching Bata stores for recruitment. Ensure basic screening before proposing to DM in line with company hiring checklist Ensure store promoters are presentable trained punctual & disciplined Provide necessary support and resources to sale staff to motivate and optimize performance Ensure grievances of store personnel are expeditiously resolved Initiate disciplinary action against sales staff indulging in manipulations and not following company guidelines rules and procedures (existing & new circulars) Customer Service Ensure training and implementation of \'Bata 5 Steps\' & \'Passion to Serve\' Prompt & timely settlement of Customer complaints & claims at store level Role model best customer service behaviors in the store General Administration and Communication Responsible for implementation of all legal compliances and company policies/norms in stores Coordinate with other departments (Accounts, HR, IT, Sales Tax, SIS) for efficient functioning of store managers Ensure proper implementations of circulars at stores - for price changes promotions & general In case of any loss to adopt SOP for Loss prevention. Inform Police, file FIR, and insurance policies, in case of theft fire burglary with the help of DM Ensure smooth and efficient implementation of all administrative policies in accordance with company\'s policies Prepare and send daily fortnightly and monthly reports to the Reporting Manager (DM) Unique Knowledge & Skills: Management Tools Prosperity Card Performance review card Permanent Prosperity Card 7 files properly maintained with records Staff daily mirror Individual prosperity card Documents: Store wise Comparative SIR NOOS Best Sellers Profitability report Compliances: (Copies of store) Trade License Shop & Establishment Act Min.
