Job Description


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our factory as a Stores Manager. The Stores Manager will be responsible for maintaining efficient stock management processes, ensuring timely issuance of components to requesting personnel, managing purchase orders, sourcing vendors to procure materials at competitive prices, and providing accurate stock statements to the bank on a monthly basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing stock levels to support smooth factory operations. Responsibilities: Stock Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of all stock items and their locations within the store.
  • Regularly update stock levels, ensuring alignment with book records.
  • Implement and enforce proper stock organization and storage practices.
  • Conduct regular stock counts to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Issuing Components:
  • Receive and process requests for components from various departments within the factory.
  • Verify the validity and urgency of component requests and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain a system to track and record the issuance of components to individuals or departments.
Purchase Order Management:
  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate material requirements.
  • Initiate purchase orders for replenishing stock as necessary.
  • Research and identify potential vendors to source materials at competitive prices.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and provide accurate stock statements to the bank on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile stock records with financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports related to inventory.
Inventory Control:
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize stock shortages and excesses.
  • Analyze stock usage patterns and make recommendations for stock optimization.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete items and propose appropriate actions.
Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all stock transactions, purchase orders, and vendor information.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and information as required.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: 15,000.00 - 20,000.00 per month Schedule:
  • Day shift
Supplemental pay types:
  • Yearly bonus
Experience:
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
