: Store Keeper (Factory)

Position: Store Keeper

Job Summary:

MACLEC Hydro Power, a leading hydro turbine manufacturing company, is seeking an organized and diligent Store Keeper for our fabrication facility in Manesar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, including gearboxes, generators, raw materials (steel pipes, sheets, etc.), fasteners (nuts, bolts, etc.), and other related items. The Store Keeper will ensure efficient storage, accurate record-keeping, and timely distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inventory Management:

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory, including gearboxes, generators, raw materials, and fasteners.

- Regularly update inventory management systems.

- Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.

- Material Handling:

- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.

- Ensure proper storage of materials to prevent damage and ensure easy access.

- Issue materials to production as needed, ensuring proper documentation.

- Logistics Coordination:

- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

- Manage and oversee the loading and unloading of materials.

- Ensure timely dispatch of finished products and materials.

- Record Keeping:

- Maintain detailed and accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries.

- Prepare regular inventory reports for management.

- Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date.

- Quality Control:

- Inspect materials and supplies for quality and compliance with specifications.

- Report any defects or issues with materials to the relevant department.

- Health and Safety:

- Maintain a clean and organized store area.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

- Ensure the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in inventory management or logistics preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

- Skills:

- Proficiency in inventory management software.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Other Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials.

- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.

- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualities:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive and able to anticipate and address inventory needs.

- Familiarity with hydro turbine components and manufacturing processes is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
