We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Storekeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing office supplies, ensuring timely restocking, and managing inventory records. Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of office supplies and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
Order Processing: Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Process and verify purchase orders and reconcile discrepancies.
Stock Organization: Organize and arrange stock in a systematic manner for easy access.
Implement and maintain an efficient storage system.
Issue and Distribution: Fulfill internal requests for office supplies and equipment.
Ensure timely distribution of supplies to various departments.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all stock transactions.
Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and orders.
Quality Control: Conduct periodic checks to ensure the quality and condition of stored items.
Report and address any damaged or defective items promptly.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
