Job Description

As a Store Incharge at India International House Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of products. Your role is pivotal in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations, and optimizing warehouse operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using appropriate software systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained without excess or shortage.
• Organize the layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Supervise the receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching processes to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to safeguard warehouse operations and inventory.
• Ensure that all products received and dispatched meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and damages during handling and storage.
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and productivity metrics for management review.
• Maintain documentation related to inventory, invoices, purchase orders, and other warehouse records.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Store Incharge, Warehouse Manager, or similar role, preferably in a retail or distribution environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in warehouse operations.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
