Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Supplier Coordination: Communicate with vendors and suppliers to place orders, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming products for quality and freshness, and manage the storage of food and non-food items according to health and safety regulations.
• Stock Organization: Ensure that all items are properly labeled and organized in storage areas for easy access and efficient use.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and deliveries. Assist with budgeting and cost control efforts.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to anticipate supply needs and prevent shortages during service.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations regarding food storage, handling, and inventory management.
