Job Description

Job Role: Storage and issue of Direct & indirect consumable



Ordering of indirect consumables.



Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial engineering/ Automobile engineering



Job Responsibilities



1. Procurement and storage of Indirect consumables



2. Material receiving and issue as per production plan.



3. Regular updates to management for inventory levels & perpetual inventory of consumables.



4. Monitoring production process to meet the timely completion of requirement within budget.



5. Ensuring requisite availability of tools, jigs & Engine related OE parts.



6. Compliance of material planning and procurement rules, considering Environmental compliances as well.



7. Negotiation with suppliers to secure advantageous terms for indirect consumables



8. Receipt and approval of parts and services as per purchase terms



9. Performing risk assessment on potential contracts with suppliers.



10. Preparing budget: Revenue and Capital



Competencies:

Functional/Technical:

1. Hands on Production & Procurement experience



2. Material Layout planning & FIFO knowledge



3. Process Skills: Material handling while receiving and issuing.



4. Knowledge of material requirement planning and related software's (Oracle, SAP, proficient in MS-office).



5. 5 S & ergonomics knowledge



Behavioral:

1. Target oriented, good analytical & problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal, communication & presentation skills, team player, self discipline with networking skills etc.



2. Excellent in multitasking and time management skill with ability to prioritize task.



3. Management and leadership skill.



4. Have exposure to 5S, 5 why, 3G, 3K analysis. Functional/Technical:
