Inventory Management:
• Ensure that inventory levels are maintained accurately and are adequate to meet customer demand.
• Monitor stock levels, receive and inspect incoming goods, and conduct regular stock audits.
• Coordinate stock replenishment, manage returns, and ensure stock rotation to avoid expiration (if applicable).
• Operational Efficiency:
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure that all store equipment and systems (POS, security systems, etc.) are functioning correctly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, sales, staff performance, and other operational aspects.
• Maintain records of transactions, stock movements, and inventory adjustments.
• Submit performance and issue reports to upper management.
• Ensure that all store equipment and systems (POS, security systems, etc.) are functioning correctly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Loss Prevention and Security:
• Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft or loss.
• Conduct regular audits and work with security personnel to ensure the store's assets are protected.
Supplier Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to product supply.
• Negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing or terms when necessary.
