As a Store Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations of our restaurant/hospitality establishment by managing inventory, handling procurement, and overseeing the storage and distribution of supplies. Your responsibilities will include maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, supplies, and equipment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and optimize storage space.
• Procurement and Supplier Coordination:
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favorable terms.
• Place orders and ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure quality standards are met.
• Storage and Distribution:
• Organize storage areas to facilitate easy access and efficient stock rotation.
• Oversee the distribution of supplies to various departments within the establishment.
• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and food safety practices to ensure product freshness and quality.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and supplier communications.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption patterns, and procurement activities.
• Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of storage areas and equipment to uphold cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Implement corrective actions as needed to address any non-compliance issues.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Store Executive, Inventory Controller, or similar role in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
