Responsibility & Authority:
- To get the materials at right time
- in right quantity and quality at right cost
Material purchase:
- Material requirement by site In change.
- Checking of material Balance Stock In Store.
- Preparation of Indent.
- Sending Indent to Purchase Department.
- Purchase Department Prepares P.O.
- Purchase Department sends P.O. To Suppliers & Store.
- Suppliers send materials as per P.O. at sites.
- Material Gates received at sites.
- Quantity of material is counted and counter checked with challan copy.
- Preparation of G.R.N.
- Storing the material and updating the stock.
Material Issue:
- Require material sheet create by contractor. (One day advance - sheet send to site
Engineer)
- Site Engineer - Checking require material sheet and Approve.
- Approved sheet send to store department.
- Store department require material issue to contractor.
- Creating Issue slip.
- Store department Issue material stock updating the stock.
Reconciliation:
- Opening material
- Purchase material
- Issue material
- Closing material
- Material Wastage control
