Job Title: Store Executive

Job Summary:

The Store Executive is responsible for efficiently managing the hospital's inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and general stores. This role ensures the availability of critical items, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports the smooth operation of various hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management:
• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
• Implement and adhere to inventory control procedures to minimize waste and stock-outs.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with digital inventory records.
• Order Processing:
• Process requisitions from various hospital departments in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit purchase orders in coordination with the Procurement department.
• Follow up on pending orders and expedite delivery when necessary.
• Receiving and Distribution:
• Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of incoming supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper documentation of received goods and update inventory management systems accordingly.
• Coordinate the distribution of supplies to different hospital departments as per their requirements.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect incoming supplies for quality, quantity, and compliance with hospital standards.
• Monitor expiration dates of medical supplies and implement proper rotation procedures.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department for any quality-related issues.
• Storage Management:
• Organize and maintain the store area to ensure easy access and efficient space utilization.
• Implement and maintain proper storage conditions for different types of medical supplies (e.g., temperature-sensitive items, hazardous materials).
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all store transactions.
• Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and usage patterns.
• Assist in periodic audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Interdepartmental Coordination:
• Liaise with various hospital departments to understand their supply needs and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to optimize purchasing decisions based on usage patterns and forecasts.
• Emergency Preparedness:
• Maintain adequate stock of critical supplies for emergency situations.
• Participate in the hospital's emergency response planning related to supply management.
• Cost Control:
• Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory items.
• Suggest strategies to reduce waste and optimize inventory levels.
• Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols in store operations.
• Maintain proper documentation for controlled substances and other regulated items.
• Technology Utilization:
• Proficiently use inventory management software and hospital information systems.
• Suggest improvements to streamline store operations through technology.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ?25,000.00 per month
