The Store Assistant manages the inward and outward flow of materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
Material Inward:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Record received goods in the inventory system.
- Material Outward:
- Process and document outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with transport providers for deliveries.
- Inventory Management:
- Conduct stock checks and audits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Store Maintenance:
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures for material handling.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of material transactions.
- Prepare reports on stock levels and discrepancies.
- Customer Service:
- Assist customers and internal departments with material queries.
