: Resort Store Assistant
Position Overview:
As a Store Assistant in a resort setting, your primary responsibility is to support the efficient and smooth operation of the resort's retail store. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for guests. This position requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive, unpack, and organize merchandise deliveries.
• Monitor and maintain proper stock levels on the sales floor.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in restocking as needed.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged products to the store manager.
• Visual Merchandising:
• Assist in creating visually appealing displays to showcase products effectively.
• Ensure that the store layout is organized and aesthetically pleasing.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional displays.
• Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and ensure that the store is well-maintained.
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with other team members, including store associates, supervisors, and management.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with resort staff to provide seamless guest experiences.
• Compliance and Security:
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activities or theft.
• Assist in implementing loss prevention measures.
Qualifications:
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and use POS systems.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move merchandise.
