You have excellent communication skills and can work cross-functionally to achieve common goals.Your DayProvide Standard Installation and Operations support for Storage/Data Protection Systems.Alert Management, Diagnosis, Troubleshooting and repair.Execute change requests for production Storage/Data Protection changesRequired to follow Standard Operating Procedures to perform maintenances.Setting up backups for Servers and Storage systems and performing restores as neededOn-Call pager support as neededCase Management and Follow up with Vendors for Root Cause Analysis and closing issues.Service Assurance and Ticket handling.Documentation and creating run books.Minimum QualificationsBS with Decent Sound System Admin Skills3+ years of industry experienceFamiliarity with RAID, inode structure, NFS fundamentalsTroubleshooting and repair of Storage Systems skills.Alert Management, Diagnosis, Troubleshooting and repair of Storage Systems.May apply project management skills.Knowledge of accessibility is preferredYahoo is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
